Meet one of the farmers

Andrew Freemantle runs Kenniford Farm, a RSPCA Freedom foods approved free range pig farm situated in East Devon.

For the last fourteen years they have successfully been rearing pigs. Kenniford is a 70 acre farm situated in East Devon 5 miles from Exeter.

The farm is a mixture of pasture, arable and livestock. The Freemantle family have been rearing livestock for the last four generations the natural way without additives growth promoters and routine antibiotics.

The farm was set up as a high welfare pig breeding unit that has allowed the traditional methods to continue with no compromise on the final product.

The farm is also on ELS which allows us to carry out environmental management, last year we replanted hedges created two copses and a fruit orchard to encourage and preserve the farm wildlife.
