Chorizo Ciabatta Butty

Simple but tasty, this easy peasy chorizo recipe is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a midnight snack. It only takes a few minutes to prepare and is the perfect alternative to a bacon sarnie!

Serves 2


  • 2-300g/8-10oz chunky chorizo
  • Ciabatta
  • Fresh rocket
  • Pimento pepper


Butterfly the chorizo lengthways and fry, skin-side up for approximately 5 mins – no additional oil required as the fats in the chorizo will melt to fill the pan.

Cut a piece of ciabatta through the middle to make your sandwich top and bottom and butter if required.

Place a handful of rocket on the bread, followed by 2 pieces of Pimento pepper. Place the chorizo pieces on top and make your sandwich.

Enjoy and try not to let the juicy paprika drip onto your shirt!
