Acclaimed British charcuterie manufacturer The Bath Pig is homing in on the emerging ‘muscle meat’ market with the launch of its own range of high protein, low fat snacking sticks.
Manufactured in Yorkshire using high welfare, premium-grade pork, the individually branded sticks are aimed primarily at the pub sector and are presented in six distinctive flavours including ‘normal’ and ‘spicy’ variants of salami, chorizo and chickorizo, an alternative meat snack for people who don’t eat pork.
Says Ian Cundell, co-director of The Bath Pig: “Like our other chorizo and salami based products, the sticks are produced to the highest standards and are already Red Tractor approved. We hope that the new range will be a tempting proposition for people on the lookout for a convenient and healthy snack,” he adds.
